Zest Coffee Sandwich - Waterford

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant, particularly the goat cheese melt - it was delicious as usual. My children had pizza, nuggets, and chips and they finished everything on their plates. The staff were friendly and provided great service. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back again.

Went with my wife for lunch. There was four waitresses there and everyone else had been served but they still managed to forget us. Had to be reminded that we wanted to order. Waitress didn't know the soup of the day. Ordered two soups once she went and found out. When we got the soup it had been ladled into the bowl and they hadn't bothered to clean around the sides leaving the overflow on the bowl (see picture). Water glasses were dirty also. When I went up to get the cafe wifi none of the four waitresses knew it. It took several attempts before they could remember it. Overall a bad experience. The food was fine but the staff are badly trained and incompetent although pleasant. You're better off going across the road to Bunkers where you will get the same food but with much better service.

I ordered Tuna Mayonnaise open sandwich on brown bread. I got a stingy amount of dry tuna on 2 slices of brown soda bread . with the emphasis on soda).The bread was smeared with a white substance presumably mayo although it looked too white to be a decent mayo.There were a few chips of red onion and a bowl of salad topped with a glutinous substance that looked revolting. I asked the very nice waitress for some Mayonnaise and proceeded to mix the tuna on my plate to make some tuna Mayonnaise.The little packets of mayo are tiresome to open and for over € 11 for the sandwich,one could expect that the messy work would be done in the kitchen for you. Won 't be returning or reccomending.

Familly of 4 ,2 adults 2 kids , visiting in killorglin, we went to zest for some hot chocolates but after looking at the menu we decide to get some food , I got the Mediterranean wrap was very tasty , the kids had pizza , my husband got the burger with gherkings he said it was the best burger he had so far . The staff are very pleasant. I Definitely recommend this place.
