Sabai - Waterford

Rang up at 7:30 on Friday evening for a table for 2 and they fitted us in at 8:15. Beautiful restaurant. Lovely building and decor. Staff very attentive but not invasive. Food was delicious. We went for the tasting menu and we were so glad. We got a great selection of dishes. The duck was particularly amazing. You won’t regret a visit.

Food was fine, nothing special especially with a poor offering of a set meal. Dining area was cold. One of the employees spilt soy sauce from a Meal all over a persons coat annd shirt and splashed mine. Staff barely helped and failed to acknowledge they had screwed up and ruined someone’s clothes. Didn’t try to rectify in anyway. Poor mgt/resolve of incident caused by your staff. Won’t be eating here again!

Visited on a number of occasions lovely building which cannot be said for owners. I have never seen the guy behind the bar being friendly or have a smile and talk with customers. The lady owner makes conversation ok but only sounds false . Started course are defo bought in from chinese wholesaler. The same main courses on the menu for years now, are just ok if you don't know anything about Asian food . And there is not really any reviews you can write about desserts . It's a pity as there is no other places in Waterford to complete with.

Had the pleasure of eating here last week with family. Simply put it was absolutely magnificent. Nicest meal I’ve eaten in years. The staff were so friendly also. I cannot recommend this place enough. Look forward to going back as soon I can.
