Hillbilly's - Waterford

Tipped in here on our travels to grab a bite to eat, snack box and drinks was on the menu, liked the gravy with the crispy fried chicken, chips and drinks x 2 which cost just over €20 which wasnt too bad for meal. This was our first time to try hillbilly's in waterford city located just off the apple markeg in the centre.

Got a family box had to put it on my buggie for some reason girl wouldnt give me a paper bag for it said she was new i think .... nearly dropped my food bad customer service . Food is okay gone down hill recently . Have kids working there now awful ..... rip off on the snack boxes special too they give a big one on a tuesday like always but the special one that you get free has the tiniest chicken just a scam rubbish avoiding now use to be great my favourite place with big decent chicken ...

I recently visited Hillbilly's, and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. It was apparent that there had been significant changes in staff and management, which were reflected in the poor quality of service provided. While the wait time wasn't too long, the food was not up to par with what I had expected. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Even the drinks were substandard, with the coke tasting watered down. I was quite disappointed with my experience and I do not believe that the food is worth the price.

Shocking service rang for collection they said it would be ready in 15mins went in still waiting in shop for another 20mins. Got food home and was freezing wont be eating from there again

The only nice thing about this place is the chicken,other than that the place looks very dirty apon entry,floors and empty tables not cleaned the whole time we were there,and the staff seen under trained in dealing with costumers.
