Ginos - Waterford

Brought our kids here for a treat yesterday evening. We have been here several times over the years with no issues. The kids were more than happy with their small pizza's. Our medium pizza was the exact same size as theirs and we asked for no pepperoni and broccoli instead. We got pepperoni and 7 (we counted them) tiny slivers of broccoli). The waiter apologise, that was fine as we don't complain easily. What annoyed us was how he was laughing with the heavy at the til about it looking down at us. Our pizza was black underneath. We didn't complain as I was recovering from an illness and was quite weak, though my husband was raging. We didn't want to make a scene in front of the kids as they had been excited about it for the past couple of weeks. We were charged for a medium pizza when it was small. More fool us, we paid for it. Had I been healthy it would have been a very different experience. I don't know where they got the staff they had on last night but they were disgraceful. Like they plucked them from a nearby hash party and made them work for free. Simply not good enough and we will never return there.

It’s such a great treat to return to an old favorite and to find that the simple standards are well maintained. Pleasant welcome, efficient service and excellent food are the hallmarks upon which Ginos was build. Great to see those standard being maintained. Thank you for the most excellent garlic bread and pizza. Not to mention the superb ice cream.

Nice pizza, not my favourite spot in Waterford but would recommend people to give it a try . it's in Waterford years so they must be doing some thing right

Nice restaurant, very clean and all the staff were excellent and very friendly. It is a bit expensive but the quality is very good. The only drawback is that there is no baby changing facilities but other than that couldn't fault it

The new pesto base pizza is to die for i love the regular based but honestly it was just out of this world
