Bidrage med feedbackI really had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered three dishes and they all lacked flavor completely. The curry was especially greasy and tasted like nothing at all. I also had concerns about the freshness of the ingredients. I have never spent $80 on a meal that was so bad before. Update: I can't believe how awful the food was. This was the worst takeout I have ever had. It tasted like dirty dishwater. I wish I could get a refund as I am throwing everything away.
Shahi paneer was not listed on the menu, but they kindly prepared it for us upon request. It was delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian options available at this restaurant.
Best Indian food I’ve had in the area by far. Great options, healthy amounts of ingredients, good variety consistent quality. Can’t ask for much more from a restaurant!
Super awesome curry place with truly authentic home cooked tasting dishes super high quality and the service is great definitely would recommend.Vegetarian options: Well done
The mission of Connaught Place is simple: serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week. Mission accomplished.I live in Seattle, so I 'm a couple of hours away. But if I could, I would return week after week, and perhaps even day after day. Because coming to Connaught Place is like coming home, even if I 'm not Indian. After a long day of traveling from Salt Spring Island, we needed a quiet dinner to restore ourselves. I chose Connaught Place from the many positive reviews. We found the unassuming eatery tucked behind an office building and peered in the windows to see it empty. With trepidation, we approached the door just as a young woman was pulling up to pick up take out. I asked her how the food was and without hesitating, her face lit up and she said, "Oh my god, it 's delicious! Plus, it 's family owned and I love to support small business. "Enough said. We slid into a booth and was greeted by the lovely Satbir. She helped us (Indian-food novices), decide what to order based on our input: samosas, naan and lamb korma. She could tell we needed a little pick-me-up and kindly brought us papadum (a crispy wafer-like bread) with mango chutney. The samosas were hot and tasty, however, the star of the table was the lamb korma. With generous chunks of tender lamb in a rich and creamy sauce, it was the stuff my dreams are made of. Accompanied by a hearty serving of rice, it was plenty for my husband and me. Even after we were satisfied, we kept on heaping food on our plate because we didn 't want to miss out on one more bite. While chatting with Satbir, we mentioned that it was our anniversary and she surprised us with scoops of mango ice cream! Just the thing to top off a memorable meal. We were definitely happy diners.Throughout the evening, many people came and went from Connaught Place to pick up their to-go orders. But I suggest dining in the relaxing space because not only is the food superb, but Satbir is a delight, and an integral part of a wonderful experience. Oh, and you might want to order more than one main dish because you 'll definitely want leftovers.
