Grounds Greens - White Rock

I'm on a bike tour and needed a good lunch to drive me across the border. This ice cream meets very well. The meal was delicious and has some nice protein components lenses and tofu with the rice base. The only negative thing was the price, but maybe I'm out of touch with how much meals are from these days. My impression of this city is that it is decisive. Maybe the rents are very high. No matter, I would eat here again I was going through again (I moved about 10km to eat here and glad that it did not disappoint my stomach). The staff was excellent. I've been vegan for 10 years. I traveled to Ont, AB and BC for food. And although I have my favorites, Greens and Grounds is by far my favorite! It was cool the day we went, so we ate inside instead of on the terrace. Many options on the menu to eat drinks and candy. The mood is fun and upbeat. Love the names of their dishes. Friendly staff, excellent kitchen team. I can't say enough about her. We ordered the OG that is a yoghurt dish. The Brekkie wrap that was the most amazing wrap I ever had (the flavors the texture just perfect!, havanna banana smoothie, ice queen, and some treats to go. I step myself because our original plan was to stay in this area for a few nights, but we ended on the way to Kelowna. Please, if you discuss where you stay, stay in the Surrey area only for Greens and Grounds. Updated by previous rating on 2022-07-25

Great place with many options. I especially like the Rice Rice baby bowl and the Eggsquisite sandwich is to die. I had several different articles here and there's nothing I don't like. I highly recommend it.

I was so excited to see a vegan restaurant in white rock after being away for a few years. The two staff whom I think were the owners were so friendly and had an amazing vibe. We had an influencer bowl and OG coconut yogurt and it was fresh and delightful. Also had a cinny bun to go afterwards and also recommend that. Great flavours. Everything is made with passion and art. I can’t wait to go back!! #Veganuary EDIT: I went back a few days later and got a mango muffin and Billionaires drink to go and it was everything. I still can’t believe I don’t have to ask them 20x to make sure there’s no dairy in it. Sooo happy! Also saw lots of people in line for food which is sooo great! Very impressed! I had the Brekkie Wrap with Creamy cauliflower soup of the day, and got chocolate for dessert. High end food in an entirely plant based restaurant. Come early- every table was full when I arrived, and there were several people ordering to go too. Not cheap, but real, good food never is. Wasn't too pricy either tho!
