Bidrage med feedbackA friend and I decided to have brunch at Two Cracked Eggs on River Street, Saturday (9/2/23). We walked in and waited approximately 10-15mins. to be seated. I am just saying when a Caucasian couple came up that is when a waitress approached. She attempted to seat us at the table under the stairs which we declined. There was an empty table that we stated we wanted to sit. The waitress stated that they would not allow her to switch the tables (made no sense). So a table was cleaned and we sat next to a Black couple who was already seated before we arrived. I looked up and saw that the Caucasian couple was seated at the table we requested. So, I informed my friend and said ok, I will let that go. When I looked up again, I saw the waitress taken the Caucasian couple 's order. We asked the Black couple who was there when we arrived if their order had been taken and they stated no. We all got up and left. I feel that the waitress was discriminatory and that management should be aware of the people they have working for them to address those issues. I regret not speaking to the manager before leaving.
One of my most favorite places in Savannah! Great coffee, food, and service. Try their Traffic Jam on your cathead biscuit delicious.
Came here for my 25th birthday and I’m glad I did! I got the peach French toast and it was really really good! It’s been a week and I still think about it. Wish I wasn’t 4 hours away from Savannah so I can order it more.. serving sizes are decent, my order would be enough for two people honestly. When we were there they have a live blues band and they interacted with the customers. Really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back when I’m in in town.
The music was way to loud. the eggs were grey and clearly not eggs but a substitute or just nasty. they looked like a wash cloth on my eggs. the gravy was sweet and not peppery at all. the biscuit was good.cash only never mentioned but a tiny corner of the menu and the servers just kind of ignored us. it was not busy.
Came here an hour after opening on a Sunday. Was seated right away. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Ordered:. Peach french toast, roasted potatoes, fried egg, bacon, and an omelette. The french toast and potatoes were very good. Everything else was ok: either lacking in flavor or didn't taste freshly cooked. This is a cash only restaurant and there is an ATM available.
