I?m a historic buildings basement, you walk down a set of stairs and enter a cute restaurant. It?s crowded and a little difficult to hear but still cute. We had the pork donut sliders, they were amazing and the best part of our brunch. I had the steak grits and eggs. The sauce perfectly balanced the steak. The mimosa was nothing special but good. My friend suggested this restaurant. I'm a Foodie so I'm always down to add another place to eat some good food. She ordered the Gumbo Grits. She said she enjoyed it, but would rather style rice instead of grits. She also pointed out that the amounts of b seafood in the dish vs the price was very good. They did not skimp on the seafood. This pub is definitely not ordinary!! I loved the basement type vibe when descending down into the restaurant. I had a spicy ginger to drink and a skillet hash that were so flavorful and delicious! Kaitlin was great. Super attentive with great menu suggestions but not too intrusive where we could enjoy ourselves with few interruptions. We had appetizers before our meal. The food was OKAY. Definitely overpriced for what is was, but I'm pretty sure you're paying for the basement experience... not necessarily the food and drinks. The fries were very dry and not at all fresh. We had the nicest dinner here on our last night in Savannah. Like s many restaurants in the historic area the dining are is small and the seating crowded together. That said the ambulance was comfortable and the staff welcoming attentive. Based on the reviews o ordered their chicken waffle gyro and my wife their hamburger. Both were excellent and the next time we?re giving ourselves amble time for a cocktail at their bar.
