Nice relaxed, hometown atmosphere. Food food and drinks. Friendly bartender.

Service was good. Food was good. It is definitely a small town bar feel. You can tell the regular customers and bar staff know each other. The building needs a good updating and cleaning up.

9/20/22, Tuesday for lunch. Worst cheeseburger and not worth cost. Sat down at the bar for lunch after a hike at the Yellow River forest. Poor employee was the server, bartender, cook and bus boy. Ordered a Miller, cheeseburger and fries. She was kind to explain it would be awhile. There were six other patrons and 4 ordered food as well. Sitting at the bar I watched as she scrambled in the kitchen with an unlit Virginia Slim 1,000 hanging off her lip. To top it off, the vendor came in to settle up and re up supplies that really threw the employee into a downhill. The cheeseburger was soggy and fell apart and was the worst I ever had. There was no menu, so I don 't know the price. But I was charged 8.25 for the burger and 4.00 for the fries. I think I got the you 're not from around here up charge. Hey, if that 's what you need to do to survive, so be it. I left 20 on the bar and bid farewell.
