Don't expect high end food but just real good down to earth basic food cooked on the plancha and served with fries and rice in very generous portions. The vegetable soup is also of the same home-made quality (with a bit of starch). The customers are all regulars and you should have a minimum of knowledge to understand the daily handwritten menu though on the print menu an English line explains what is in the dish. I had the turkey which was a very generous and well seasoned portion and my husband had the pork chop which according to him was not as well seasoned.
Abril 23 Sorprende la buena calificación cuando entras y ves una barra de bar bastante humilde, lo mismo que cuando se pasa al interior donde esta el salón para comer, hay unas 8-10 mesas con la cocina al fondo, menú fijo, en la primera página de la carta, por supuesto Bacalhau, vino solo en jarra, aunque estén en la carta, vino casero en jarrita, blanco o tinto, el blanco esta bien. El bacalaos al horno con su patata cocida, huevo duro, cebolla cruda y las típicas aceitunas pequeñas amargas y aceite en abundancia, perfecto y riquisimo. Postres bolo bolacha, tocino de cielo casero con nueces, alguna tarta más y fruta a elegir. Comida humilde, casera y a buen precio. Se paga a la salida, no en la mesa. Para repetir
