Tascoe - Porto

Tasco was one of the best customer service restaurants I have ever had. We were visiting from the states and booked this reservation well in advance. Unfortunately my girlfriend got sick the night before from food she ate elsewhere and we were unable to make our reservation. I walked in to let the Tasco team we had to cancel and they said no worries, made me a speciality drink and let me taste an appetizer. We made it a point to go two nights later for drinks and snacks and the team remembered us. They even came up with espresso martinis and dropped espresso beans around us as a small gesture to end our trip of right. Jaoa and Tiago were the two guys that provided some of the best customer I’ve ever heard. I’ve already recommended Tasco to people who are traveling to Porto soon. I look forward to going back and hopefully the same team is working.

A very warm welcome and explanation by our server Yugo (all the staff are friendly). We loved our meal, steaks were the star. Lovely rose wine. Interstellar dessert was an experience! In all, delicious, surprising and enjoyable. Very much recommended. Thank you!

Based on the reviews and cost, my wife and I expected an excellent meal. To our surprise, we were treated to one of the greatest dining experiences we have ever had. Our server, Anne Catherine, introduced herself and sat down with us, explaining the menu. She was attentive throughout the meal, as was all the staff. With her advice, we chose to share the sea bass, sweet potatoes, and roast vegetables. All were cooked to perfection. Wine and drinks was paired beautifully. For dessert, we had the citrus surprise, which looked like a lemon, but exploded with amazing citrus flavors when she struck it with a spoon. Everything was fantastic. What set our experience apart was the joy and love poured into our meal, from all the staff to the 28 and 26 year old talented chefs. Everyone cared; they were proud of their work; they took service to the highest possible level. Guests beside us (a Scottish couple and another from Australia) were similarly delighted with their different selections of meat and praws. Every once in a while, you have an experience that sets the standard. For us, our meal at Tasco was such a moment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are sad to be leaving Porto. We look forward to returning!

The space is not big, but even without a reservation they allow to stay in a kind of bar, overlooking the restaurant and drinking some amazing cocktails. The food is to share but the quantity is huge. It serves 3 adults. The division is cosy with wood on the floor and walls. The service is one of the best I had. Informado but very professional and friendly. The price is high for Portuguese, this is why, during our stay we only heard foreign languages. But it worth the gastronomic experience.

We spent the afternoon walking the streets of Porto taking in all the beautiful things to see. The evening was setting in before we new it. We had no dinner reservations so we stopped at Tasco to see if they had availably. We were given the last table for 2 with stipulations we only had the table for an hour. Great seafood entrees along with a very Expensive bottle of wine. The service was excellent. The place was immaculate
