Bidrage med feedbackThis was my first time here and I was very impressed. I think it's a great breakfast place to meet in Newport. There are plenty of parking spaces on the south side of the building (including HC spots). The entrance is accessible to the toilet. Waiting is what we expected. We were a party of six so that they sat in neighboring stands (the children loved it). The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!
Great breakfast break. Server has been experienced and efficient. The food was well prepared. I was particularly pleased that the Omlette was not fat. Menu was simple, but had the basics. Good hold. Bathroom not so clean.
I live in Nevada and my aunt always leads me to a Pig N Pancake when I visit, although it's a few hours drive from her house. We make a day of enjoying the beautiful coast. I have pancakes, eggs and bacon that was fresh and hot. I love them having souvenirs. The children's menu has funny named elements on it, the fun for the children. I've been going to Pig n Pancake since the 80s.
We sat immediately; the whole menu is available for order at any point of the day. Our waitress was very friendly and also comic. The coffee was hot and fresh and there was plenty of cream and sugar at the table. Everyone also got water in addition to his ordered drinks, which is one thing we always love. I have a Clam Chowder appetizer, and the cup was filled with Chowder at the bride. It was thick, creamy and pretty charming. I wish I had more potatoes in it. The food came very fast. hot and fresh and all at once. I got the patty melt and it was delicious! Nice and cheeky, the Patty was a pink medium, and the thousand island sauce was definitely hommeade and delicious. The rye bread was beautiful and crisp, but very soft. But the onion rings were very simple, and the onion strands would go out with a bite that was a minus. My wife Beeren Swedish pancake was light, crispy and tasty. Everyone liked his meals, and the portions were satisfactory for the price. Pancakes were nice and fluffy, and the butter they serve is spun out so it is easy to spread. A great little touch to a traditional breakfast. A great experience and we will be back to Newport next time!
Pig 'n Pancake is my new breakfast favorite. They fed my family of 7 in record time and everyone loved it. We split an amazing cinnamon roll, and while the younger kids and I had pancakes, eggs benedict, French toast, and biscuits and gravy, and a skillet, my wife and oldest enjoyed very good clam chowder and halibut fish and chips. Coffee was solid, and the service was friendly. Clean and comfortable. We will be back often.
