As someone who enjoys authentic Thai eating and has lived in cities such as toronto, where the Asian food scene is at its high point, I was twice disappointed by the quality of the food in this restaurant. the first time I left was for a light. with my friend where I ordered the tom yum kung and he ordered the phad thai. tom yum is my favorite soup and there were so many things wrong with this court. first we asked to make it spicy and instead what it was added way too much salt. at the point where a beer needs to wash this plate. secondly, instead of shaking mushrooms, they used the simple penny button to sort and add insult - replaced the tomats with red paprika. Finally, the white rice served with him was darkened and dry, giving me a reason to use the suppenbrühe to breathe at least some life into this court. When I was eating the second time with my friend and my mother here, we ordered a mother dish. I had the pork version of the phad thai and the same recurring problems were common. it is as if she salted this dish with salt solution from the dead sea! seriously, I informed the waiter about it and he nodded with a look of confusion on his face. finally, the black was dry and overcooked. if they appreciate good eating, they try to go to helsinki to find authentic Thai restaurants. but if they prefer to throw on the wind (as well as their entire wallet), then they try this place.

At midday with local workers...a very good price buffet tasty thai curries and sweet with rice. free refill and convenient seating. good for a fast and delicious lunch.

Cheap wok, where they can take what they want, almost as much they can eat. nice staff, new bar.

Years ago Jonel Thai used to be a good thai restaurant. Then the prices went up and the customers probably found other places. Now it is an average place that is offering an eat as much you like buffet. The buffet had a few choices,...but the food was nothing special and the appearance was not inspiring. The whole restaurant needs upgrading. It is sad. I like thai food and this used to be the restaurant where I stopped for lunch when I drove through Lahti, but now there are better places.
