We drove from helsinki to lahti for their banana chocolate cake. the cake is heavenly good, cafeteria is cozy and beautiful landscape. the journey worth it!

What a jewel! We were looking for a nice place to take a late breakfast and decided to make a stop in Lahti. When you enter through the door we were overwhelmed by this incredible scent of bakery and cinnamon, all baked right in this location. We had a little queue (popular place with locals on a Sunday) which was so much worth it. The selection of sweet and salty bakery and quiches is fresh and delicious, coffee was great too. I loved to sit inside, so cozy and styled with love! Outside is nice too, with view onto the lake and the harbour. Don’t miss the small shop that sells genuine, handcrafted finish items.

Beautiful cafe in an old building next to lake Vesijärvi. Cinnamon buns are delicious.
