Valle Del Subasio Assisi

Wonderful time here, beautiful place, great food and delightful hostess and staff. We had some special dishes with local Tartufo that were outstanding. They went out of their way to make something outside the menu for a very picky 8 year old.

We were roaming in the vicinity of Basilica of St. Francis when the kids requested to eat. Since it is time for dinner anyway, we thought of eating nearby and this restaurant was the one we ended up in. Since we started from the basilica side, we first entered the hotel then went down to the restaurant. The ambiance, I would say, was nice the hotel being in an old building, and when we finally entered the restaurant, it even provided an excellent view of the Assisi/Umbrian countryside, especially during that time that it is slowly getting dark. We tried their usual 5 course meal, and we were not disappointed. The bruschetta with olives and tomatoes was especially loved by the kids, the pasta was creamy and delicious, and the main course (pork for me and chicken for them) was tender and yummy. Adding excellent service and cheap cost of the meal, we had a really wonderful evening.

Wonderful place. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Located near Assisi so very convenient for visit or for a dinner. We took a one bedroom apartment, and we founded it big enough for a family of three. Clean and spacious. Very nice pool and scenery.

We had such a great time, we originally wanted to stay only two nights, but ended up to four as we loved it so much. we had the full breakfast every day, which was substantially and always fresh. the dinner was also very well prepared and delicious. eddie and silvia were both very helpful with suggestions and always for a chat. very relaxing time and hopefully we will meet again!
