Delicious food. A bit out of the way and slightly more expensive but very delicious. They were very accommodating to young children. Michelin rated? Saw signs for it at the door.
Dissapointing, don't even know where to start... Waitress was consistently rude, did not clean the table when we arrived, rushed us to no end, instructed us individually on who is allowed to spinkle parmesan on the food based on what we ordered, etc. Food felt like low quality ingredients in order to scam tourists. Nothing like the real local cuisine.
We enjoyed the porcini pasta. What we had problem with was the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The server treated us like tourists incapable of knowing any local culture, brushed us off when we wanted to specify things and didn’t really ask us what we wanted but chose things for us before we could even finish our sentences. We were going to have a tomato-base pasta but ended up getting a different dish instead. The biggest problem we had was with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The walls were extremely dirty, and had feces splattered on them. It was not a pleasant sight...especially just after eating mushroom pasta. We actually wanted to throw up after seeing it. I notified the server since we didn’t want other people to see it but she again brushed me off telling me to go into the other bathroom, which had someone in it already. She didn’t apologize for the lack of cleanliness or seem like she was going to have someone clean it at all. I understand; the restaurant was busy at the time but she was the only person working. I work in hospitality business, and I simply cannot understand how a full sit-down Michelin-star restaurant only had one service person at a busy lunch hour. Service charge is 2.50 euro per person, and water is 2.50. The pasta was average price 10-14 euros. It ended up being the most expensive meal in our one week Italian trip.
Yes. It serves interesting food, with good service, at sensible prices. The staff are friendly, happy to give advice and are attentive without being intrusive. When I was there the customers ranged from those with young children to elderly couples. Everyone was welcome and everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. Pretty much what you want in a restaurant. Although the menu includes much more than pasta, the pastas were well made and interesting. Give it a try.
