Sheetz - Zion Crossroads

Have stopped here for many years throughout my time in undergrad and postgrad at UVA. Always loved having this pitstop in Zion Crossroads to get out of Cville's bustle and be able to fill up or get a snack at a location on the way to RVA. Bathrooms were still as clean as I remember!

Fast. I had a pre-made ham and pimento cheese sandwich that was pretty good.

Nice people but they’ve got a massive fly infestation. While waiting for my food I couldn’t stop watching all the flies walking around the walls, flying around the food prep area, the lights.very off puttingI’ll be checking my food before every bite

Normally we are fans of Sheetz, but this one needs serious new management. One example is our experience at the drive thru today — we ordered at the kisosk, then pulled up to wait in line at the window. One by one, cars in front of us started to drive away without any food. When it was our turn at the window, we pulled up and realized there just wasn’t anyone there and the other cars had given up. We could see Sheetz staff through the window at the inside cashiers and tried to wave to get their attention. Twice the staff looked at us, but kept ignoring us. We waited around 10 min before giving up. Sad because my husband really wanted that burger! Their food is great, but the management has some issues to work on.

But then again...I only purchased gas, used the restroom (clean) and went thru self-check out.
