Gyro Fernontas - Zakynthos

If I could, I would give this restaurant 5 stars. I'll be honest: I didn't initially choose this place based on first impressions. The exterior was simple and unassuming, with just a few tables outside. However, we decided to give it a try for two reasons: 1) The menu was authentically Greek, which we usually see as a good sign, and 2) the prices were reasonable. When we arrived, the owner (we think) assured us that everything was fresh and they could accommodate any special requests. Initially, I was prepared to settle for just fries, but when I mentioned I was vegan, the owner seemed a bit confused at first. After explaining my dietary requirements, he graciously offered to create a vegan burger for me. He even threw in a complimentary bottle of water. The flavors of the burger, fries, and pita bread were absolutely outstanding, even compared to non-vegan options I've tried in the past. I left the restaurant feeling incredibly satisfied and would highly recommend a visit.

I was prepared to just have fries or a gyro, as I've done in the past, but when I mentioned that I was vegan, the owner was initially confused. After explaining my dietary restrictions, he assured me he could make something for me. He ended up preparing a delicious vegan burger for me, along with excellent sides and a fantastic pita bread. The overall experience was amazing, and I highly recommend this place! Plus, we received a complimentary bottle of water, which was a nice touch.
