Rick's - York Village

My favorite breakfast restaurant in the area. Mr Cody enjoyed breakfast in bed outside of Rick's on our latest visit .. he had scrambled eggs and toast .. he agreed Rick's is the best breakfast in the area.

Definitely a must if your are traversing this area!! Food and service is awesome!

What a wonderful place to eat! We went two days in a row and not only was everything we got excellently made and presented, on the second day we had the same server who not only remembered us but also some of what we’d ordered the first day. They have two dining areas in addition to the outside tables (under an awning), and I find that this setup helps keep the spaces seem more intimate and less loud. I liked the hash browns very much, eggs were cooked to perfection, their bacon is superb, and we enjoyed the homemade corned beef as well. The restaurant is located right on Rte 1, with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out.

Sad experience. Great food. Great wait staff. But Veronica the manager, owner?, decided that she wanted our table for someone else 15-20 minutes *after* seating us. So she had us moved to a different table. What is worse, she sent the waitress to tell us. We asked to speak with Veronica, the manager, 3 times but she was too busy to speak to us. Sad experience, great food but the owner doesn’t know how to treat customers like customers should be treated.

After a short wait we were seated. The chocolate chip pancakes and stuffed French toast were really good and our waitress was helpful and friendly.
