Toby Carvery Downlands - Worthing

Nice eating and pedd, waitress was friendly and chatting, we were not rushed at all, although it was pretty busy.

It wasn't a single man with the car. what wonderful worth! and a water that was with senior citizens!

Downlands was busy. Long ques for carvery so difficult to navigate back to my seat as people blocking way. Service delayed as we had to wait for clean plates and seemed as of no member of staff had responsibility for this. Food was good as always once you got it. Arrived at 6.45. Sat down to eat at 7.45.

On the whole the food was as you would expect , on arrival we were informed no turkey or beef this was 1pm , as we were leaving around 2.30 turkey and beef put out ..

Carvery is best standard I have found at any price. Both meat and vegetables are always fresh and hot. Good choice of non-carvery meals too. Service can be a little slow if the restaurant is busy but is always very friendly.
