The Egremont Pub And - Worthing

What a lovely little find this was. A beautiful pub full of character and only minutes from the seafront. The food was fabulous with a nice variety and great portion sizes. A very welcoming and dog friendly pub too, they even cooked up a burger for our furry friend to have. Lastly the staff were superb. They were extremely friendly and overly helpful with everything, nothing seemed to much trouble. It really makes you wonder why everyone can't be like this

I liked it.... It's a nice oasis of old fashioned comfortably and local friendliness. Quality drinks, downside just a tadd expensive.

Wish we 'd got to sample these highly rated Amazing Roasts!!! My partner called to check availability for lunch and was told yes come on down. We were not even 10 minutes away. By the time we entered the bar and had spoken with the bar staff members no one had a recollection of the phone call booking at all, actually confusing us with another booking for a couple with two children? So off she went to check with her Manager. Yes you 're table will be ready it 's just being Wiped Down have a drink whilst you 're waiting. We waited 10 15 minutes in the bar waiting for the table wipe down. I returned to the bar to politely enquire on how things were progressing, the two bar staff I spoke didn 't have a clue I was waiting and again went to speak to the Manager whilst we sat back down to finish our drinks. After no member of staff returned we gave up waiting and walked out. Friendly but really poor customer service. Really poor!! Oh and the couple with the two kids arrived after us and were seated straight away!! :

Wunderful! Palace fit for THE QUEEN!!! Hope Simon Cowell auditioning today at 12 noon sharp? If he does come definitely will be buying him a beer and G&T for Amanda! Can't wait.

Pleasant service, good wine, and very comfortable seating in the back. Will be returning for lunch.
