Shorely Scrumptious - Worthing

On holiday in Worthing for a week with my 85 year old mum, we chanced upon this cafe and decided to try the roast dinner. The owners were really friendly and the roast dinners were awesome….so we felt it was only right to try the desserts, too. Sadly, we only discovered the cafe on our last day, otherwise we would definitely have gone back!

We found this cafe while on holiday in Worthing. It's clean and the staff are friendly- it's not what I would call fancy but that's not a criticism. We all had variations on the breakfast menu, our server took the trouble to make sure he had all the orders right before sending them through to the kitchen. Food arrived quickly- it was all cooked well, hot and tasty. Just what we needed on a wet and windy day. While there we noticed that there are a lot of regulars who the owners know by name.

This is the best cafe in Worthing! It’s not posh just good well cooked food. The breakfasts and lunches are great. Treat yourself.

If ever I'm in Worthing town I make sure to pop in to Shorely, they do the best fry up in town and the prices are really reasonable. I've been going there for years and it's always spotless and welcoming. The menu is very big and they do much more than fry ups, the main meals are lovely home cooked meals in big portions. It's a really lovely family run cafe and great with kids too.

Whenever we visit Worthing, we make sure to dine at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Our favorite dish is the liver and bacon served with tasty vegetables, followed by a delicious rhubarb crumble. We highly recommend this place.
