Bidrage med feedbackI would give this restaurant 4.5 stars. Located in the building with their wine tasting room, the vibe is cozy yet sleek, if that makes sense. Two fire features, large windows and eclectic seating, it is visibly pleasing. Our server was Lucio--excellent! He joked with us and had inside jokes by his second visit. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel like we were his fave guests of the day. We ordered espresso martinis, made with cold brew, which were well-balanced and not too sweet and did their job. We got the pomme frites--get the pomme frites if you love fries! The shoestring fries are perfectly cooked and salted; they don't even need the aoli. I ordered the spinach radicchio salad and the hubs got the romaine kale Caesar with prawns. The Caesar was the big winner--if you're a Caesar lover and you love a good Caesar (you know who you are! you'll love this one. Perfectly balanced garlic and anchovy to the creamy sauce. The radicchio salad is the reason this restaurant didn't receive 5 stars. I love me a good radicchio salad, but this one didn't go well together. There were green olives (which were fantastic on their own , apples, blue cheese (which had a strange flavor--and I LOVE blue cheese and fennel. It should have started with a creamy dressing and gone from there, I realized. So I ate half of hubs' salad. Definitely go wine tasting then come eat here!
Relax and get acquainted with a delicate and tucked away nook in a Woodinville. Wine options are from DeLille as well as comparison options from all over the world. Menu feels more current than most in the area.
My first time to DeLille Cellars as a pre-event before another wine event. I've not been to this building since it was Red Hook. The atmosphere is warm, modern with fireplace and fire pit. Seems to be romantic and great place for a first date. I was expecting a happy hour menu, but just one menu since after 5pm that contains a lot of top cuisine and unique dishes. Saw a lot of wine flights and a small appetizer being served. We went big and got some of the most popular dishes where I got pork chop and wife got today's special. I was impressed with the pork and found the food, service and atmosphere to be great. Would like to come back for some of the lower cost happy hour items as the dinner menu can be pricey.
I went to DeLille Restaurant for Seattle Restaurant Week, a little wary because of a previous negative review. I wasn 't sure what to expect, but we were really impressed with everything we tried. I had the wedge salad (very good; awesome tomatoes that are hard to find outside of the garden and especially this time of year , the cheeseburger and stellar fries were also good (try the garlic aioli , and the flourless chocolate torte. The torte had good depth of dark chocolate flavor a bit thicker than I expected, like a brownie, but great flavor. My guest had the butternut squash and pumpkin chili.... OMG... we both swooned. So velvety and flavorful. More like a thick blended chowder/puree than what we would think of as chili , but didn 't matter. Best dish of the day. She had the cacio e pepe, which she said was actually a bit too salty, but still fair (I didn 't want to ruin my memories of the real deal in Rome, so didn 't try.... LOL.. , and the profiteroles for dessert. The ice scream was a tad too sweet but the pastry was nice. Service was great, very attentive and responsive. It was a bit on the slow side, but we weren 't in a rush, so just felt relaxed and not overly pushy. Will definitely be back!
