Bidrage med feedbackMade a reservation for Mother’s Day. Even with having a reservation, a table was not reserved. It was open seating for everyone to find their own table. We ordered food at the counter and waited an hour and a half before they told us that our food had not started and it would be at least 30 if we chose to stay. Almost the entire outdoor seating area had customers leave without ever getting their food. A place that has an open self seating concept does not work with reservations.
Made a reservation for Mother’s Day. Waited in line for 40 minutes to order...an hour later the food and appetizers arrive at same time. It was an awful experience with our family of 5 experienced on Mother’s Day! I think this is the nail in the coffin at The Commons. Sorry!
Experience wasn't the best considering that most restaurants have had a year to accommodate for developing/acquiring an app to order food at your table. Mother's Day was bad since they ran out of their brunch specials plus we had to wait in a long line to order food... so much for keeping social distance.
I think they are still trying to figure out the new normal. Service was very slow. They brought food but no silverware or napkins. No refills on drinks. We were outside and rarely saw a service person at all.
Food was fine, did have to wait longer than we expected but figure it was working out the kinks and rules for reopening. Only problem was the food was a bit spicy for 2 of us.
