The Frederick Stegmaier Mansion

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this bed-and-breakfast. The house is one of the most amazing houses I’ve ever been inside of and the attention to detail Is second to none. I stayed in the Amelia room which is stunning and for the price we paid it was the best deal I think I’ve ever gotten for a place to stay at the level this was. The owner and operator is on site his name is Joe and he is personable and will show you around the house. I spent hours just walking around and looking at all the antiques that are in this house. We stayed here and went to the casino and a concert for four days. I would definitely come back and recommend this place and give it five stars. I’m a tough critic and I was very very impressed with my stay here.

We went there for a tour of the mansion. We had a lovely lunch and wonderful desserts. We also sampled a couple of Stegmaier beers a great tasting IPA and a spirited Pumpkin Spice, yummy! We also sampled their chef made dark chocolate sea salt caramels. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were entertained by a barbershop quartet. The mansion's owner was friendly and knowledgeable about the mansion's history and the Stegmaier family's beer and brewery history. Very ornate inside, more like eye candy. It's also a bed and breakfast. Plan to return there in the future to stay overnight. Highly recommend. Constant Traveler

This mansion is a must see if you are anywhere near. Joe took years to renovate every detail from the antique furniture to the painted ceilings. It is a step back in time to a period of ice-cream socials and afternoon teas, with the elite. Joe put his heart and soul into this project and it shows in every detail. Don't miss the chance to see and stay in one of the cozy bedrooms and enjoy the amazing food and service. It is an experience you will treasure for years to come.

Beautiful mansion restored meticulously. This bed and breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. One of a kind and worth the visit. It was featured in Victoria magazine a while back because it is just so beautiful!

We recently had our daugter’s bridal shower at the Mary Stegmaier Mansion. It was flawless!! Kim is a true delight to work with. The staff was extremely professional and made everyone feel welcome!
