Bidrage med feedbackFood was good. The one thing was the waitress did take a long time to check on us. It was busy an possibly had lots of tables to attend that night. Will try again.
Absolutely spectacular! The service was wonderful. Our chef was exceptionally entertaining and delivered possibly the best Japanese Steak House meals I have ever tasted. It was crazy delicious. The filet literally melted in my mouth. I will be backfor certain! Highly recommended!
I'll start out by saying we went on mother's days. We reserved a spot for 3pm. My mom and family was coming about 10 15 minutes late so we could surprise my mom. So the main waiter was giving us a hard time about grabbing grill early 3:00pm becauseour whole party wasn't there. We told him we all wanted to be sitting down. After a back and fourth he let us take our seats butkept asking where are they at. We almost walked out because the guy was bringing some very ugly energy. Eventually my familyshowed up and everything worked out. My mom started crying she was so happy. We filled up all 15 seats like we said we were. SoI understand the guys point of view because hes running a business but the first 15 minutes left a ugly taste in ourmouth, Besides that, everything was great, food was yummy, steak was cooked to perfection and all the waiters energy wasfantastic. My daughter arianna, he was trolling her the whole time and she was having so much fun. She could of made 15$ if shebit the vegetables but she didn't. Honestly I wish I could taste the lobster again. Soooooo GOOD!!!!! In all we would come hereagain. Like I said, all the food was great. We all laughed and enjoyed the show, The rice was some of the best rice ever. Thechef also cooked my dad's steak seperate because he can't eat fish so grade A experience from our family.
Hibachi is fun in general. Shinto does hibachi very well. The Westlake location took over a spot that was fairly well placed, but never able to quite get off the ground (RIP Miami Nights). The food is really good, as you'd expect from agrill-in-front-of-you place, and all the chefs follow the standard Hibachi Chef trope, are funny and entertaining. The cocktailsstand out. Shinto isn't the only option for hibachi locally, but it is the best. It reminds me of the kind of touristdestination restaurant you might find at Disney Springs or Myrtle Beach; unfortunately with prices to match. Don't expect aninexpensive meal here, but remember you're paying for an experience. When we went it was 17 degrees outside. That's the kind ofweather that would usually want to make you get on a flight headed south. Since we couldn't leave town, Shinto made us feel likewe did. And that was worth it.
Awesome experience!!! This was the best hibachi I've been to in a while! Our cook was hilarious. I believe is name was Jake... either way we had a blast for the time we were there. They were extremely short staffed but we still enjoyed our time there andlaughed from the time the cook got there until we left. Hands down recommend shinto. We will drive the 40 mins again to eat!
