There’s simply no comparison between Mitchell’s and any other ice cream. Nothing even comes close. Every flavor I have tried is uniquely creamy, tasty, and delicious. My personal favorites are Campfire S’Mores and Wildberry Crunch. How they get the toasted marshmallow flavor in the S’mores is a mystery of the universe. The Wildberry tastes like a Berry Cobbler ala mode with plenty of fruity and crunchy elements. A bit pricey but portions are huge and you can take a pint home with you. Warning: Addictive, weight gain is likely, and you will be spoiled for any other ice cream forever.

My grand daughter has a love for this place so when we visited Lakewood for Christmas, she insisted we go! Who was I to argue with great ice cream? Mitchell’s is one of my favorite places for great flavors like plain ole vanilla, my go to when evaluating parlors like this one. Lots of other flavor options to choose from along with toppings that put smiles on everyone’s face. Sit down and watch the train go around overhead while you sample the best ice cream in Cleveland!
