Star Rose Garden Restaurant - Welland

One day, a friend I ride with introduced me to this place, and we went there for soup. It was absolutely incredible! My wife loves the egg foo young, and I love everything else this place makes. It has become our go-to place in Welland for Chinese food. The parking is a bit limited, with only 4 to 6 spots available.

I ordered dinner for 1 with chicken balls chicken fried rice n eggroll n a small wonton soup. I live couple blocks from this place when my bf brought it home. I was lil disappointed wonton soup was lukewarm and bland. The chicken balls covered in sauce not only made my chickenless rice soupy but they were so rock hard. The only thing hot was the sauce that should of been on the side but filled half of the container n ruined a dinner that tasted as though it sat there all day. I was hungry so i tried it. 2 bites in it went in the garbage. I can only speak of my own experience for me never again but to each their own.

If you are looking to order Chinese food in Welland, be prepared to speak multiple Chinese dialects. The online menu is incredibly outdated, dating back 20 years. Communication in English at Chinese restaurants in Welland is nearly impossible. If you're seeking a disappointing experience, give them a call. Definitely would not recommend.

Amazing food. Served hot. Fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is older but clean and well taken care of. The service was fast and friendly.

Stopped in for takeout for supper.My partner ordered a combination plate.Sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken fried rice and an egg roll.I had Chicken Lo Mein.Tons of moist chicken with soft yummy noodles.Food was piping hot and the portions were very generous.We were very happy with our experience and will definitely be back to eat through the menu!Excellent prices and value for your money.Would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian choices on the menu.
