I ordered the fish and chips dinner. Sounds simple, but when I received my meal my fries were beyond salted, they were inedible. It was as if someone double salted them. My fish was saturated in oil. Imagine taking a bite and having a pool of oil spill out. I’ve had many fish and chips in my years but hands down this was the worst. I can forgive the greasy fish, but the seriously salty fries left me feeling just like that. No, I would not like fries with that at Mr. Mikes, Welland.

The establishment itself is 5 star. The staff was excellent. The place was spotless and the decor was fun. The food was hot, fresh and well prepared. The reason it is only 4 stars is I found it a bit overpriced for what it is. About the same price as The Keg and more than Chuck's. Should be somewhere in between.

Great from the beginning to the end. Great hostess, waitress, meal (Ribeye). Definitely a restaurant to eat at again.

Went there on Saturday with the wife for dinner, everything was excellent. Steak was amazing, portions were great. Loved the stuffed mushrooms. Server was helpful and super nice, service was a tad slow, but chalking that up to a busy Saturday night so I’m not holding it against them. Will definitely be back!

3- great food. Hit the spot!Steve was awesome. The only thing that wasn't great were the stools on the bar side (picture attached . Very uncomfortable. Everything else here is superb though, just gotta get rid of those stools.. 2- Ok. Now that it's been open for a while, I'm changing my review to 4 stars. Food is awesome. Staff are hard working go getters. (Thanks Jillian L. And Makayla C. Atmosphere is wonderful. Mr. Mike's have found its stride. And it's delicious. A bit pricey, but isn't everything nowadays? You get what you pay for here. It's worth it. My old review is below. As you can see I was upset about the wait time. I think they've sorted that out now. Kudos. 1- 1.5 hour wait. And for some reason, they don't take reservations??? How can you start a restaurant, and not have the ability to take reservations? I'd love to put a good review, but no way I'm waiting around for that. Maybe next year.
