Thurberg Daniel Franz - Weinfelden

The favorite restaurant of my sister. we had deliciously prepared local cuisine with high quality regional ingredients, accompanied by a beautiful wine from their own weinberg. a family-run restaurant, popular with local and visitors. efficient and friendly service.

The restaurant is also a local attraction with excellent view over the environment and the alps. so it can be fairly crowded with good weather. the restaurant is family-run and offers very nice local Swiss dishes in good quality and with friendly service. in summer they offer a large selection of cordon blue, which is a very good Swiss dish. a reliable choice for local and tourist destinations.

Just great! Starting with the weather (sunshine) through the beautiful view to the very attentive service and the great food with regional vegetables and of course the warm host. Great, we'll be back!

Basically a good restaurant with great staff and a great view. However, all vegetarian/vegan dishes are not edible. Unfortunately not coordinated, bland, ready-made sauces... It's a shame for the price!

Wonderful view from the terrace. We enjoyed an Asian-inspired vegetable bowl as a starter, which tasted delicious. The veal schnitzel with mushroom cream and spaetzli was also very tasty. An espresso affogato rounded off the lunch pleasantly. I also learned that Federweisser in German-speaking Switzerland is not a Suser but a Blanc de Noir. One is grown directly under the terrace. Despite its acidity, it harmonized very well with our food. The young service person from Konstanz was particularly friendly. thank you very much
