Riva - Konstanz

Five. September 1745 h (545 hrs). This is a review for management. We (2 people) wouldn't sit for a glass of champagne because they don't have a person. There were exactly two tables outside (and they have a large terrace) at a sunny summer night. I've never seen a high-end restaurant before, and the hotel is going to leave my guests because they don't have waiters?! This is a first and unacceptable for a hotel and restaurant of this quality. Looks like they don't need your euro.

We were here for a drink and a desert. The interior of the restaurant looks really appealing, we felt like at home. The waiters were very friendly. You need to wait a bit for order, eat, pay. Don't go if you're in a hurry.

Had a wonderful evening while eating on the terrace. Fantastic food offered at very cheap prices with a service with a smile.

Right in front of the lake, in a quiet area, next to the hiking trail. Candles and romantic lights illuminate the outside. The menu is interesting and it offers some dishes, but very diverse. I tried the Tom Ka Ghai, who tasted super and the spring rolls with the peanut sauce (ok). Definitely a must try when you pass!

My husband had planned dinner here as a surprise for my birthday. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We are new to Germany so still learning the language, but on our reservation it was noted that we spoke English and every person that can to our table spoke English. A small thing but noted and appreciated. It is a very modern feeling restaurant but not snobby or stuffy. To be honest the food was excellent, our party of 4 were all extremely happy with our choices and could not fault the excellent service. Dessert was a highlight. I very rarely order Creme Brûlée as most restaurants manage to mess up this simple but delicious dessert. This was the best Creme Brûlée I have EVER had and trust me I am very picky. Well done Riva we will absolutely be back, you helped make my birthday even more special.
