The food is first class ! And the service so friendly, Wednesday nights are such a bargain, we've been coming for years and Jack the owner treats us like family.

Went out with friends for a meal, the food was very tasty and plenty of it, was warned by waiter that mine was going to be spicy which it was and right up my street. Considering there were eight of us, all the meals turned up at the same time so kudos to the chef. Drinks are pricy but no different to most other places.

We went here for a meal before a show at the theatre, which is only a 10 minute walk. I had read good reviews on here about this restaurant so booked it. First impressions were that it wasn't the cleanest restaurant we had ever been in. There was s stain on the table cloth and the windowsill next to our table was sticky. We ordered drinks and food from very friendly waiters. Our starters were very nice and then the main course arrived. As well as getting what we ordered, we were also treated to onion bhajies and a cheesy chicken dish with the compliments of the house. This was our 1st time eating here, but speaking to the people on the table next to us this is a regular occurance. The food was really, really lovely, even if there was too much for us to eat it all. All in all a very lovely meal and the staff were very friendly we will certainly be going back when we're in the area.
