Bidrage med feedbackI recently returned to Thai Tanic after a long absence and was pleased with my experience. I went with two friends and we shared two appetizers - spring rolls and satay. The spring rolls were some of the best I have had in a while, while the satay was decent but the sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking. I ordered a special dish - fried shrimp with ground chicken, which was nicely spiced, hot, and delicious. The only downside was that there was a lot of sauce, which made the presentation a bit sticky and soggy once the fried shrimp soaked it up. The portion size was huge, almost too much, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. One of my friends loved the drunken noodles, while the other was not satisfied with their dish of chicken and pineapple in a red sauce, as it seemed more like old-fashioned Chinese food rather than Thai. Overall, I enjoy Thai Tanic for its fun, cozy atmosphere, good food, and reasonable prices. I would recommend it for a casual night out, as it was crowded and also does a good carry-out business.
Very solid choice. I have to go back. many things on the menu to try service was very good. very helpful from ordering to checkout.
Vibes we sat at a beautiful window stand, best place in the house when they can get it. service- our server was attentive and respectful. we sat for quite a.
Was very disappointed at this meal. it was a special family celebration. the application lasted long, eating came mildly warm, and eating was only moderate. we have them.
We dined at this restaurant shortly after moving to DC, and returned to celebrate our anniversary. The host was wonderful and the food was always delicious. We highly recommend this place for its great Thai food, despite a change in ownership. I tried their dessert for the first time and really enjoyed the ball-shaped treat. My main dish had a great texture, savory sauce, and was a generous portion - I had to take some home because it was so filling.
