This boutique grocery store is right in my neighborhood and I stop there all the time, it’s one of my favorites. Tucked away, almost hidden, on Columbia rd you may not notice it at first, but when you go inside you will quickly see many patrons at all times of day eagerly awaiting their order of freshly made sandwiches or salads. The store also has a great selection of ethnic foods and the service is good. You may end up waiting a tad on the long side, depending on time of day, but it’s great to support staples of the neighborhood and small businesses like this. 5 stars for their food, especially their custom cream cheeses and breakfast items, and the unique goods they sell.

During our stay at the Washington Hilton, we had trouble finding good-quality and affordable food nearby. After discovering this restaurant online, we decided to give it a try as it was within walking distance and the sandwiches looked appealing. We were not disappointed! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a delicious bagel, while my husband opted for the Italian Hero filled with meats and cheese, served on Italian bread with a crusty exterior and soft, fresh interior. We also enjoyed a fresh blueberry muffin and a chocolate chocolate chip muffin. We highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal.

Meh, I've experienced better is probably the best description. Skimpy sandwiches, but friendly service. People seem to like this place, but I would not go back.

If you are seeking a fancy dining experience with chef-prepared dishes and a romantic ambiance, this is not the place for you. However, if you are in the mood for sandwiches, bagels, and pastries, then this spot on Columbia Road is perfect. The food here is simple but satisfying. It can get busy during lunch hours, so be prepared to wait a bit. Despite the crowds, the staff work efficiently to serve everyone in their cozy space.

Small storefront. Accepts cash only. Serves a wide range of different sandwiches on a variety of breads. Also breakfast bagels. Lots of different salads on sale. Shelves of dry goods to accompany your food. Cooler with interesting desserts. Good coffee and sells a large number of roasted coffee beans. My go to place for a sandwich.
