Slate Wine - Washington

The scallops were small and very salty and our steak was cold as well as the Brussels sprout and lastly my lobster paella had 3 shrimps and 1/2 lobster with lac luster flavor for $30 outrageous!! We definitely would not return Good luck

Everything is perfect. This is a very special restaurant.

Food is absolutely delicious! And the wine pairings were perfect! Danny is such a great host. We are looking forward to our next visit. And will definitely share our great experience with our closest friends.

The Service and Food was amazing! Our waiter took his time explaining the various wine option that paired well with our entree. The ambiance was really nice, great for a date or a small gathering of friends.

Unfortunately my experience at Slate Wine Bar was pretty bad. I dined there last Friday with my CEO and her husband and I was praising on how fantastic this restaurant was based on the paella awards that they have won and the experience was so bad that I had to apologized several times: our appetizers came out after 30 minutes of ordering it (a cheese platter, nothing to cook there), the waitress couldn't explain the three different wines in the tasting flight and she put them out of order, and the PAELLA.... well the paella was so bad that two of us send our plates back untouched (dull, insipid). This situation was probably worst since it was restaurant week and it hurts me having to write this review, but the experience was so extremely bad and the date was so important that I can't trust this restaurant anymore.
