Clyde's Of Gallery Place - Washington

Clyde's is an institution. The service and food was impeccable. DC must do better addressing homeless citizens who approach the pattons in the vicinity.

Clyde’s provides one of the best dining experiences in downtown Washington, D.C. The restaurant makes an impression the moment you walk in the door. The atmosphere changes immediately from the hustle and bustle of downtown DC to peace and calm. The décor is lovely. We dined on the upper level. The booth-style seating was well spaced and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, engaging and they easily answered questions about the menu. I was delighted to see that vegetable entrée selections were also offered. We absolutely enjoyed our meals, and we definitely plan to return.

Waiter was terrific. Food came out fast. Good quality and good value. Experience overall was better than I remembered it.

Beautiful restaurant in D.C the cocktails and the calamari were a really good way to start. I had the shrimp sampling and it was delicious. the pasta was perfectly cooked and definitiw one must try. my friends also enjoyed their entrées. I love the feeling of the restaurant. beautiful lighting and interior with a beautiful bar. the service was beautiful and efficient. highly recommended.

Stopped at this place while for a late drink and snack. it is quite difficult to find a place after 9 or 10 o'clock open...so strange! this place is open until 1 hour. the wings were okay. nothing outstanding. the moskito was good brownie a la mode ok. I'm glad I found a place open, but I won't recommend it. the music is so loud, it's hard to make a conversation under her party.
