Amigo Mio - Washington

Disappointing experience at this Mexican restaurant. The drinks were subpar, especially the $15 margarita, which was the worst I've ever had. Save yourself the trouble and head to Guapos in Georgetown for a better Mexican dining option.

I went here on a Friday night with family and were pretty disappointed. I ordered fajitas and my food was actually pretty tasty and flavorful. I particularly appreciated how the veggies were diced and the portions. The tortillas were cooked and warmed to perfection. Unfortunately a majority of the other food we ordered either had concerning or bad flavors to it. We also ordered table-side guac and got served a bowl of guac that was very clearly made some time ago and refrigerated. Another disappointment was the chips were highly stale and almost inedible. The salad dressing actually tasted sour or past its prime. We had to ask for drink refills every time we wanted them. It's a shame because it used to be a good place to go.

Good comfort food but their Fajita combo for 2 for $38 was the same size as the single portion in other restaurants.

I just got carry-out (and tipped) and just sat down in my hotel to eat my dinner. I have no utensils and no napkins! Am I supposed to eat with my fingers?! The steak isn't tender and the food isn't good--threw most of it in the trash. Waste of money and won't return.

Great fresh food. Tasty cocktails and fast friendly service.
