Absolutely beautiful little inn tucked into the mountains in Warren, VT. Lies right along a creek with aqua blues hues against the rocks beneath. Right across the street a perfect place to grab food or drinks before heading out on daily adventures. The Pitcher inn has a private back porch and a garden with grapevines hanging. A great spot to take some downtime. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Romantic, Quiet
Beautiful Inn located in Warren. We usually visit once or twice a year, usually during ski season. Always for dinner, never used the lodging. This year we came during Autumn for fall foliage. The restaurant was closed so we ate in Tracks, the lounge. Tracks is accessed by a simple door off the lobby of the Inn. Down a staircase and through a cave like stone passage. Very unique. The bar and lounge open to a garden area. We sat in the leather sofa by the fireplace. Very cozy and charming. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the sofa seating. Started with Caesar Salad, the Corn Chowder Soup, followed by a Roll. All the plates were good, but the Chowder was the highlight. Highly recommend. This is one of the few higher style and intimate experiences in the area. Unfortunately they closed the pool table and game area. A disappointment as we used to end our night having drinks and playing shuffle board.
Attentive staff and great food. Tracy spoke to me on the phone before hand and followed up with me to make the reservation. Our main courses were delicious, one of black bass, and the other of scallop risotto. We chose to sit inside due to rain but they had beautiful porch seating overlooking the brook. The staff, food, and atmosphere all made for a wonderful anniversary dinner. Service: 5
Extremely high-quality hotel (also pretty expensive). Search online, and you will find articles written about it. Each room has a unique theme. The whole place has a really nice antique, rustic, authentic Vermont vibe. However, the best part of the Pitcher Inn is Tracks, the casual dining restaurant downstairs. With low ceilings, a big fireplace and everything made of stone or wood, it has a very comfortable and relaxed (but well-appointed) atmosphere. Seating is limited with several unique setups, such as the couches with coffee table in front of the fireplace and the wine vault. Reservations are required and fill early.
