Bidrage med feedbackLocated on the coast road between Wolfville and Truro, there are limited dining options, so we were pleased to receive a recommendation from a local lady to try out Walton Pub. The menu consists mainly of traditional pub fare. I tried the hot hamburger sandwich and found it to be quite delicious. The service was prompt both at the table and in the kitchen, overall, very satisfactory. I did have to keep an eye out for the bill when we were finished.
The restaurant appeared old and worn down, but it was the only option around so we decided to stop for a late lunch. Our order was taken promptly and the food was good until I discovered what I thought was an eyelash in my sandwich. When I pulled it out, I found an 8-inch long hair between the layers. My hair is very short, so I knew it did not belong to me. They offered to replace the sandwich, but I declined and left.
We thought here was dinner, just before dorian. after nowa scotia we had not seen a television and had no idea that we had a hurricane country on us, we heard the conversation in this restaurant. we lived in...Maitland, which was a pretty ride to the east, so we were eating pretty fast and sneaked back to our accusations. eating and service were both good and the decor is quite cute. it was too nipple to eat outside, but that would have been nice too!
In this area by the Bay of Fundy, there aren't many eateries around. This pub (although I would consider it more of a deli) offers fresh fish and chips, burgers, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is full of local charm, and the food is delicious. The service we received was speedy and attentive.
This restaurant was recommended at tourist bureau. We got one of the daily specials which was the seafood chowder . We called it the potato chowder as the fish was very scarce. The broth was good but it definitely was not a seafood chowder. The...biscuit was okay. Service was decent .
