Genova Delicatessen's Ravioli Factory

They used to have a place in our neighborhood in North Oakland, but those days are long gone. So we came here for the same deli treats, imported food, big sandwiches, nice salads.

Came here for lunch one day and it was so good! There were two people working who you could tell had such a great attitude and as I was waiting I was hoping one of them would be the ones to help me. Unfortunately, the man who had such a positive attitude was helping someone else when it was my turn but fortunately the other lady with a lovely attitude helped me with my order. I ordered a medium ravioli, because who doesn't get ravioli at Genova? I also got a Philly cheesesteak for my partner on a French roll and an Italian combo on Dutch crunch for myself. My partner loved the Philly cheesesteak and definitely is locking to come back for another and my sandwich was everything I could hope for in a deli sandwich. We are excited to come back soon! I also love that they have other Italian grocery items you can purchase while waiting for your ticket number to be called. It always gives me something to look at while waiting. They also have frozen ravioli and sauce along one of the walls in case you want to bring some home with you for later.

This place has the best sandwiches however their sides are all old and I found a hair in my potato salad just yesterday. The whole entire staff has the WORSE ATTITUDES. They barely communicate and huff and puff every time more customers come in. There are two ladies behind the counter (one red head and a blonde) they have the worse attitudes and barely ever make sandwiches correctly. Smart remarks when any customer tries to customize their sandwich that they are paying for. It's sad to see a tasty place go to **** due to the staff's attitude and negative energy. Please retrain your employees!

Cute spot with deli meats and other Italian delicacies. You take a number and wait to be called. I ordered the meatball sausage sandwich Philly Cheesesteak. Both were delish!! Highly recommend this spot. It seemed like a very popular spot, would definitely return

I was craving for authentic tiramisu so I found this store when I was around Walnut Creek. You will need to grab a number upon arrival and wait in store to be called for service. Tiramisu is amazing, I could eat many of them! The cream tastes like icecream, it's soft and creamy. I really like it! The only downside is I waited nearly 45 min because they only had 3 people working that day, even though all the staff has been nonstop making customer's order. I wish they have an online waiting system so people don't have to wait in a relative small store in amid if pandemic.
