Duo Grill House - Albany

The baby back ribs with the delicious coconut BBQ sauce are absolutely amazing. I love them and now I have to go back to the restaurant to get them fresh. If they taste this good being delivered all the way from Albany, I can only imagine how heavenly they must be in-house.

The coconut BBQ sauce on the ribs was amazing, and the shredded short rib sandwich was flavorful with herbs and delicious. The bread pudding was also fantastic.

We ordered three grilled fish tacos and the super burrito, but both dishes lacked flavor. The salad was already dressed, causing it to be wilted by the time it was served. The pico de gallo had a stale onion taste. On the bright side, the chips were enjoyable.

This place was truly awful. I dont Even remember the last time I one-starred a restaurant. Firstly, everything in our order arrived stone cold (which may have been the delivery processs fault, but still. My boyfriend ordered the burger, which was very bland. I ordered the grilled fish off the Mexican menu which arrived as two small pieces of pallid, seemingly completely unseasoned white fish that was *barely* browned. More like bad hospital food than anything. And of course, the crème brûlée. Ive ordered this from many places and even make it at home from time to time. Usually it comes in a small crock with a light layer of sugar on top (even if I ask for it not to e torched. This was not so much crème brûlée as a sad lump of custard unceremoniously slopped into a paper box. Tasting it did not help my initial impression. The lemonade was pretty good though.
