Bidrage med feedbackPortugal's long relationship with Mozambique did not necessarily mean that Mozambican food was easily available, specially for those who did not live in Lisbon. Fortunately for our palates the situation is changing and we can begin to know and taste some of this east-african country specialties at Kanimambo (the word means thank you in one of the Mozambique languages) a small nice place owned by a young and nice couple. Their menu includes delicious samosas (w/meat or veggies), chicken, fish or sea food curry served with Bastmati rice and Matapa. Food is served in generous sizes. Deserts are very good and include coconut mousse, passion fruit mousse, chocolate cake among others. At lunch time during the week, daily dishes are served. So if you are in a mood to taste a different and rich cuisine you should definitely pay a visit to Kanimambo,
