Refeição de ótima qualidade! Espaço extremamente agradável e bem decorado! Recomendamos o bacalhau gratinado, arroz de pato e Folhado de bacalhau. A tarte de limão merengada é fantástica! Tivemos ainda a possibilidade de aprender imenso acerca da região do Douro!
After touring and drinking some Port, all of us were hungry. Our driver tried to get us in a couple of restaurants but they were busy for Sunday Lunch. Good i researched the area and bookmarked a few restaurants. Found this family owned restaurant with amazing home made Portuguese food. Still dreaming about the roasted pork's leg, traditional grilled sausage, and the fresh melon with ham. The melon is so refreshing. Why is The tomatoes so sweet in Portugal. Highly recommend this place. Great selection of wine as well. They also have a store on the first floor for souvenirs and wine.
Não saber que fomos pelas recomendações do mapa do tripadvisor e do google nos levou a um restaurante situado na borda da casa de mateus. o local é acolhedor, bem decorado, mas pequeno. nesta ocasião escolhemos o pernil no forno. o serviço e simpatia do cabo de empregada verdiana, atenuado a espera demorada. a comida era bem-confeccionada, mas o preço era alto considerando a quantidade/qualidade do prato que nos foi apresentado.

The eatery has only 20 seats, the cod gratin is divine. The wine selection is extensive in the tourist shop below. I’d normally steer clear of tourist magnet stores but they’ve cultivated a range of wines from small vineyards and I bought a 30 yr old port pricey but tastes like smoked grape juice smoky, sweet, complex worth the 1 bottle quota to take home.
