Arkösunds Hotell - Vagnhaerad

I drove all the way from norrköping and was looking forward to a nice dinner and showed my French friend arkösunds hotel. they have a lot of space inside and outside. when we arrived at six o'clock, one of us said that she had no free table for us. practically all the tables were empty and we asked them to find a small place for us, but she said she couldn't get out of table because he was full. we asked if we could get in. she told us we could wait two hours. we said that the place is not full and we are here now, can't we arrange anything? she asked us to go on. I said we're probably never coming back. She said too bad. we were very disappointed and also quite hungry and we saw a pizza bus belonging to the hotel. we could sit under the hotel terrass on simple plastic chairs from a dirty table on the grass. a bit like on the camping site. They served us the most expensive pizza we have ever eaten in our lives! 260 sec. yes, you read me. 260 Swedish krone, 27 €! my bill was 710 sec with 2 pizzas, salat and water. That's incredible. we thought we were dreaming. we can be in porto cervo or in saint tropez! we are in arkösand next to a parking lot and just a few tomatensauce and sink on topping. really not a friendly evening.

Beautiful landscape and open and clean environment. the pulled bbq burger was good. not many vegetarian alternatives, you were not even listed in the menu.

Arkösunds hotell is the perfect place for overnight or week-long stay and only what the Swedish lifestyle has to offer. I can really fish again or a trip from the sea with a kajak or sailing boat while they are there

Very nice hotel, especially since the renovation and supplement of the new veranda bar opposite the water. beautiful sea view from some of the rooms. can highly recommend.

Great food. Very nice staff. Was a corporate event, very well planned and good execution.
