Tagua - Uvita

I love the iced orange and floral coffees. The breakfast foods are always fresh and delicious. I love the relaxing seating that looks out on the creek and trees. The customer service is always superb. We live here at the moment and frequent this place because it has such a wonderful energy. The vegan pumpkin muffin is delicious and the Gallo pinto plates are wrapped in banana leaves and taste great. Don’t miss this spot! There is also a brewery next store and a natural foods store next store. All are great to check out.

Absolutely incredible gourmet coffee! Everything is organic and the beans are sensational. There are also a variety of other creative healthy drinks and snacks. Stop here on your way to the waterfall. We are in the heart of Uvita next to a wonderful bulk health food store called Emana.

This adorable coffee spot is the perfect place to relax and get a coffee, tea and snack. The coffee is served artisanal and crafted in front of you. The baristas are passionate about their products and create something up and beyond a normal coffee shop. They use mostly local vendors and the end result is an amazing coffee experience. The grounds are really beautiful and sit right on the river where you can enjoy your drink. They are on the way to the Uvita waterfall which is really nice to visit, so stop on your way at this coffee house, you won’t regret it!

Tagua is an incredible little gem in the Uvita jungle. This charming open-air cafe has a lots of character, from the colorful painted walls to hanging bamboo lights. All of the products are made by local artisans and the coffee is brewed using authentically Costa Rican techniques. Cris, one of the owner's, is incredibly knowledgeable coffee and it is clear that he values quality.

Beautiful coffee, beautiful staff that go beyond and beyond to educate them beyond the coffee and the opposite. they work with other little business around the opposite to them to eat beautifully they sit, take their time and enjoy them!
