Food and service were incredible. The lambskin was juicy and perfectly cooked. Our waiter was so nice, he even gave us some extra Pita to go to our remains!

Get the grilled octopodi, Spanakopita, filled grape leaves and Sheftalia. Looks like the outdoor seating area is closed for the season. Service is excellent. I look forward to coming back!

The best Greek food I've tried so far in NYC! Because of the pandemic, all my international travel plans have been abolished. And one of these dream destinations was Greece. I always love Mediterranean food and Zenon Taverna helped me fill this void. The Queens Zenon Taverna in Astoria offers classic Greek dishes with a local ambience. They have both exterior and interior seats to meet your needs. I started my Greek food trip with her mixed salad, add the Feta cheese and you won't be disappointed. Along with the fresh, soft and warm Pita bread and you are, you have your appetite whet. I ordered the mixing grill, a combination of lamb, octopus, pork, various sausages and Halumi cheese. This is one of the best mixing plates I've ever had. I chose the potatoes as my side order and it was a game made in heaven. Finish your meal with your baklava! It is soft, cuddly, sweet and crisp. It is the perfect way to end your Greek food. In addition to their extensive menu, they also have a great customer service. This day they only have two servers, but they ran the whole restaurant smoothly.

I am not a great fan of Greek food, but decided to review this place and overall my experience was meh. After we sat outside on the tables at the edge of the street, we ordered some food that came quite fast. The general taste was okay, but I was really surprised how little my order came with, a few pieces of chicken and a few quarters of potatoes, that definitely did not feel like a real meal. The nail in the coffin was not back for me, although was the price they had charged for this small part of food. I would suggest being careful and asking questions about the food you order. The price seems about 50% more than what I expected to pay and quite down on the whole experience.

Food was delicious especially calamari but service could be better. We had to demand some attention from our servant he ignored us most of the time.
