Maui Chicken - Torrance

I’ve been here a few times this place is great for lunch I had the chicken Katsu and the teriyaki chicken both were great.

First off the food is just plain and bland nothing special here, order chicken teriyaki with rice, spam musubi with the expectation of a hardy delicious meal and the chicken was cold the teriyaki sauce was like a drizzle over the chicken, the spam wasn’t cooked took two bites and tossed it in the trash the only thing worth vibes was the people their at the moment from out of town like my self experiencing the same results as I was… read thru the reviews after and was like this place is a joke for Hawaiian style food … been to main land over a dozen times and this place never comes close … not sure if it was the time of day or the cooks in the back who where off that day. All in all after a long day at the beach Taco Bell was much better than Maui Chicken.

I thought it was weird when they offered a drink but made me to give 5 stars… feels dishonest, like a way to boost their rating. I might’ve given 5 stars anyways. Food was good for the value. But my friend thought he could get better poke elsewhere.
