Bidrage med feedbackI don't get it. I wanted to order from here, but yelp says no takeout. That can't be right, so I called the number. Someone from Lazy Dog answered and really puts effort to live up to the Lazy brand. Would not answer my question, just put me on hold. Finally hung up after it was clear no one was going to pick up. I guess this is a Lazy Dog-affiliated brand? I don't know. Don't really care, plenty of other good wing places that are happy to take my money.
Little disappointed, started hearing about a new wing place on the radio called Jolene’s wings and Beer. Figured i would finally try since I am a wing guy. I looked them up and called the number and was surprised to have someone pickup and say “Lazy Dogs Restaurant can I help you”. I actually hung up thinking I got the wrong number and called back and got the same thing. Confused I asked the person is this Jolene’s wings and Beer, and was told yes we take orders for them. So I ended up ordering a to go order of wings. I verified they were located at the Lazy Dog address which they said yes. Wow what disappointment, the wings were they same ole Overly deep fried wings I had a few times from Lazy Dogs. They we even given to me in a Lazy Dog box and bag and nothing indicated Jolene’s wings and beer. Can someone help me figure out what is going on here? Is Lazy Dogs changing their name? I mean I just felt kinda duped with hearing all these Ads on the radio….
Wanted to try competitor for big wing places for my brothers birthday.Chicken was dry, little sauce coating. I expect this for a dry rub, but personally expect my fingers to get a little messy otherwise. All four wing flavors I got were somewhat bland to me.All the sauces I recieved for the wings besides basic ranch tasted off brand and cheapAnd the chicken itself didnt have a distinctive chicken flavorDont want to bring down avg star rating too much by what could just be personal preference and an off day, but I was starving myself all morning to late afternoon for this meal, so I feel it should have probably tasted better to me than it was.
So heard about Jolenes on the radio and wanted to try it. Apparently it's Lazy Dog Cafe, but just wings and sides. Ordered the Nashville hot, sweet chili, Kung Pao, and BBQ wings and Cajun fries, regular fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. The wings are good, on par with any other wing joint, but where Jolene's shines is their sauces. We tried them all and it's not exaggeration when I say that they make the wings AWESOME! even the sauces from the sides, jalapeño aioli, bark+bite, and chipotle ranch are great. Make sure to try all the dipping sauces to get the most out of your wings.
These wings were awful. they had a really weird texture and it kinda made me question what i was eating. and i was high while eating them and literally EVERYTHING tastes good high so that says a lot about them...
