This was my second time at this location, went for Happy Hour. Both visits took 5-10 minutes to be offered a drink and at 5:40pm it's surprising not very busy. Food was not very hot when brought out therefore it got cold quicker. Just not a very invitingplace to eat. Seems like staff is friendly to regulars but not to all who visit. Might give it another try, as we normally likethe Happy Hour menu.
Service was very, VERY slow, and a lot of the food was cold. Our sever, Michelle, deliberately (I believe) refused to make eye contact with any of her tables as she walked through her section making it difficult for customers to get her attention foranything we needed. The fries that I ordered along with our appetizer were brought out to our table before anything else, andthey were so cold, they were inedible. Once Michelle finally got around to checking on us again, I let her know and she tookthem back, and when the new ones came out with the appetizer platter, they were hot, but the Southwestern egg rolls were barelylukewarm. The time it took for each thing we ordered to come out and for Michelle to come by and check if we needed anything washorrendously long. By the time I received the Cholula and limes I requested for my shrimp tacos, they were already getting coldtoo. As we were eating, we overheard the table next to us discussing a mistake Michelle had made on their check. As such, wecarefully reviewed ours when it came, and she had made an error on ours as well. This isn't a case where the restaurant was sobusy that it would have been impossible to keep up with service and food quality. A large number of tables were being leftunused the entire time we were there, even though we ourselves (a party of 2) had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We decided totry this Chili's after a similar bad experience at the one in Carson, but now I'm starting to think that maybe it's just thechain itself. I feel that the manager of this restaurant wasn't keeping a close enough eye on the operation and activities ofhis staf, but that's just my opinion.
Sadly we did not have the best experience at this Chilis. Our server seemed to be a bit distracted or forgetful and took way longer than expected to bring our food or refill our drinks. The side plates he brought us were dirty and he also left ourdrinks resting on a booth (see image) and seemed to completely ignore them even after my family and I pointed it out. He alsogot my order wrong but I didn?t complain since I enjoyed it. While I understand being very busy and short-staffed can affectboth wait times and the servers? concentration, he seemed to be helping other tables just fine. Not really sure what was up withthat. Our food was still great, but it does not make up for the poor experience we had.
Dirty people dirty place the food wasn't cooked and my husband's order came out wrong after waiting 30 minutes for a salad! They have a horrible cook. Then the waitress waits to out our order back in. And she takes forever so we walk up to pay the bill andshe says we were trying to walk out without paying! I can't believe their service it was horrible you deserve no stars!Management needs to hire a whole new staff cause they were awful! Never coming back here!
