Moxie's Grill & Bar - Thunder Bay

Of the two dozen Moxie's I've been to across the country in my travels this could be the smallest in the chain.

I would say that I was underwhelmed by the margherita pizza I had here.

I like Moxies for a quick bite and drink while shopping at the mall. I often order appetizers only and a drink. My favourites are the dry ribs and the little won ton things, forget what they are called. The drinks are always great and they have specials and you can moxie size them. It was a nice quick dinner for 7 of us. We were served promptly and the waitresses were very friendly and efficient

For those who have read my reviews you will note I have given an Excellent Rating every time. That is because I would never write about someplace that I have concerns about. To tell you the truth I rarely have issues with the places I have been to. As for Moxie`s I have been dining there since it opened. The Servers over the have been excellent. They are professional ,pleasant. they know the menu, they are courteous, they attend to you in a timely fashion never ever making you wait. They are one of the reasons I keep coming back .It started with Melisa who later became the Manager to Hannah and Heather to name few currently. The food is excellent, I have enjoyed everything I have ever had and the prices are comparable to other like Restaurants in Thunder Bay. The Restaurant has maintained its cleanliness throughout the years. That is very important as nothing can turn a customer off sooner and that goes from the washrooms to the dinning area. I recommend you attend as I know you will be pleased.

This place is right in the mall. It is good if you want a break from shopping but you will be there at least an hour so factor that into your shopping day. Don't like some of the changes they made. The décor although modern I preferred what they had before. The menu is different and no longer has some of our favourites. Nice washrooms. Food is good but pricey. We rarely leave from lunch under $25/person and $35/person for dinner.
